Your ideas are our fuel.</p> <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">In your role, you will</H3> </div><div><ul> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Adheres to General Work Requirements.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Analyzes requirements and initiates production tool repair requests.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Directs Methods Planners in the preparation and revision of manufacturing documents.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Assists with validating and approving the compliance of engineering drawings/documents, tool design concept, etc.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Analyzes and present production changes by assessing the costs, impacts and risks.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Drafts the necessary working and repair documents.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Work with manufacturing to develop and implement work arounds due to part shortages, broken/lost tooling, non-conforming parts, etc.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Use basic Root Cause Corrective Action tools to solve manufacturing issues.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Provide cost reduction initiatives and help with their implementation.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Ability to work on the manufacturing shop floor in an IPT/Matrix structured environment.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Provide status of non-conformances for a given Workcenter</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Provide shipside support for manufacturing’s day to day activities.</span></span></li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">As our ideal candidate</H3> </div><div><ul> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Typically, a minimum of 3 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Manufacturing Assembly background is preferred.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering is preferred.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Lean Certification is preferred.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Experience in SAP 7 is preferred.</span></span></li> <li class="MsoHeader" style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Analyzing models using Catia V5 is preferred.</span></span></li> </ul> <p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:48.0px"> </p> </div></div></div><p>Bombardier is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
