If you have a good idea, we'll provide the environment in which it will thrive and grow into a great product or customer experience. <br> Your ideas are our fuel.</p> <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">In your role, you will</H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Resolve fit, form or functional issues on Aircraft components and for repairs required during the manufacture of the Bombardier Aerospace products.</li> <li>Find solutions to any problem with the aircraft structure and/or systems that is reported and raise necessary documentation to overcome the problem quickly and efficiently.</li> <li>Repair and/or salvage dispositions with respect to Engineering specifications, concepts, and integrity of design, as well as sign for dispositions on behalf of the Engineering department.</li> <li>Work closely with all specialists within Engineering, such as Systems Liaison, Design, Stress, Materials Technology, Aerodynamics, Performance, and others as required to problem solve and or address any problems reported.</li> <li>Support Production, Design Engineering, Procurement & Quality in coordinating resolutions to issues and providing Corrective Action involving Engineering.</li> <li>Interpret engineering drawings, specs & provide guidance to junior employees.</li> <li>Provide status, updates & keep current on information regarding manufacturing changes & problems.</li> <li>Lead the technical support to Operations, Methods, and Quality.</li> <li>Provide coaching to non MRBs team members and other not specialized MRBs.</li> <li>Lead initiatives for process development.</li> <li>Support requirements from internal and external clients.</li> <li>Anticipated to our client needs.</li> <li>Take actions to with our external partners about commercial issues.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">As our ideal candidate</H3> </div><div><ul> <li>You hold a Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or related field.</li> <li>You have a minimum of five (7) years MRB experience or seven (10) years design experience in Aerospace.</li> <li>You have excellent knowledge of aircraft structure & system installation technical requirements.</li> <li>You have Electrical & Systems experience (considered an asset).</li> <li>You are an energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a high-pressure partner/supplier team environment.</li> <li>You have previous experience as a Mentor and Coach in both the Liaison Team environment and in working with problem solving teams.</li> <li>You know how to browse Engineering mockups in CATIA V5.</li> <li>You are flexible and comfortable working autonomously, under pressure.</li> <li>You are recognized for your sound technical judgement and practical approach.</li> </ul> </div></div></div><p>Bombardier Aerospace is an equal opportunity employer with a non-discrimination policy.<br> If your profile meets the requirements of the position, we will keep you informed via email or phone.</p> <p>Join us at: careers.bombardier.com</p> <p>Your ideas move people.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Job</b> Liaison Engineering Specialist </p> <p><b>Primary Location</b> Aerospace Mexico - El Marques</p> <p><b>Organization </b>Aerospace Mexico (B.A.M)</p> <p><b>Shift</b> Any Shift</p> <p><b>Employee Status</b> Regular</p> <p> </p>
