In addition: </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles and manipulates technical data using established formulae<br>and procedures and performs detailed mathematical calculations.</li> <li>Must have an uncompromising attitude towards quality.</li> <li>Must thoroughly understand, enforce and follow the Lincoln Electric Quality Management System as it applies to all daily activities.</li> <li>Encouraged to initiate changes for continuous product and process improvement.</li> <li>Maintain manufacturing quality performance metrics and/or quality records.</li> <li>Assist with the evaluation, proper identification, and disposition of all non-conforming items and materials.</li> <li>Be aware of all products, documents, and process changes in your area of responsibility which affect quality.</li> <li>Utilize the Quality Management System and appropriate divisional personnel to support or drive Continuous</li> <li>Improvement</li> <li>Assist in the training and performance feedback of production personnel to production supervision.</li> <li>Develop and perform random process and product audits.</li> </ul> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Basic Requirements</H2> </div><div><ul> <li><strong>Technician II</strong>: Vocational Training & 3+ years of related experience or, GED with 5+ years in related field.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Technician III: </strong>Vocational training and 5+ years of experience in a relevant work environment is required; or High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years experience in a relevant work environment.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">a. Completes a variety of atypical assignments</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">b. Works with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignment</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">c. Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience</span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Technician IV: </strong>Vocational training and 8+ years of experience in a relevant work environment is required; or High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years’ experience in a relevant work environment.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">a. Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable work experience</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">b. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">c. May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others</span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally on the shop floor on a regular basis.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Demonstrated computer skills in MS Office and Windows operating system.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to develop and maintain records and to follow projects through to conclusion.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Basic understanding and knowledge of manufacturing engineering and Quality standards.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to use measurement and inspection tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, Pins, Gauges, Protractor, and Scale.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Capable of frequent standing and walking and lifting up to 60 lbs.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Must have excellent attendance, safety and work record.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to work rotating shifts.</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)</H2> </div><div><ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Understand the Company’s EHS Policy and how it relates to this job.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Be aware of OSHA and EPA laws and regulations as well as the Company’s Plant Rules and Regulations that pertain to this job.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Work in a safe manner and observe all company EHS and JHA procedures.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Follow safe equipment operating procedures and only operate equipment when guards are in place and in good condition.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Know that the company EHS procedures are contained in reference books, such as SSW Specifications, Plant Rules and Regulations, and Material Safety Data Sheets.
