MAIN PURPOSE The incumbent is responsible for managing Regional Quality Management work for all Shiseido brands and products to ensure the highest standards of product quality and safety for our cosmetic products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance from Product quality perspective. In addition, candidate will also provide support for managing Regulatory Affairs work including product registration, claims support, ingredient checks etc. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Ensure all consumer complaints across the region are reported, analysed, investigated, and closed as per internal timelines.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Identify trends in consumer complaints and take necessary actions as per internal processes.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Develop product recall protocols and SOPs in line with local regulations.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Prepare and submit quality management reports to Head Quarters as per the internal process and timelines.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Implement and manage Quality Management Policies and SOPs for cosmetic products in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal company policies.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of our markets and affiliates to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and ensure continuous improvement.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Manage and maintain all quality-related documentation and records.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Provide leadership and training to markets on usage of internal quality systems like GQS to ensure they are adequately trained and have the necessary skills to perform their job functions.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Support to ensure accuracy and timely preparation of Cosmetic product documents to LA (Local Affiliates) for product notification / Registration.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Check the correctness of Regulatory documents received from HQs.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Assist in checking the details of the local regulation and other regulation concerning the matter.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Support product innovation via Regulatory Intelligence</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Timely completion of surveys related to regulations to support future innovation. </li> </ul> REQUIREMENTS <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Minimum of 3 years of experience in cosmetic quality management or a related field.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Regulatory experience will be added advantage but not essential.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and product safety requirements.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Strong leadership and team management skills.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Highly organized with strong attention to detail</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Proactive mind, interest in Quality Management and must possess learning attitude.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Self-motivated, organized and highly energized to work on multiple projects at same time and with speed </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Proactiveness will be an advantage</li> </ul>
