MAIN PURPOSE <table cellspacing="0" class="MsoTableGrid" style="border:none"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="padding:0.0cm 7.0px 0.0cm 7.0px;vertical-align:top;width:623.0px"> The incumbent is responsible for managing Regulatory Affairs work for Cosmetic Brands including Quality Management related responsibilities for the products. In addition, this candidate also provides support for future innovation across all Shiseido brands via Regulatory intelligence. The incumbent needs to ensure smooth launching of Cosmetic products (consider strategy, advise, create process for getting product license / advertisement approvals and be able to precisely check the correctness of documents) in the region. This person is also expected to minimize any impact from the local regulations for Shiseido group. In addition, this person is responsible for managing all the product related complaints across SAPAC markets for these cosmetic brands. One of the key roles is to support future innovation by providing timely accurate Regulatory guidance across all markets. </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Support to ensure accuracy and timely preparation of Cosmetic product documents to LA for notification / Registration</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Check the correctness of documents received from HQs</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Assist in checking the details of the local regulation and other regulation concerning the matter</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Update ingredient restriction database based on amendment of regulations</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Support in attending to correspondent request from Regulatory in LA when necessary </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Support to give advice on Regulatory points for SAPAC Advertisement </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Get information of new regulation and support for SAPAC LA to comply with them</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Support Quality management in APAC in cooperation with LAs, HQ and other RHQs.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Support product innovation via Regulatory Intelligence</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Timely completion of surveys related to regulations to support future innovation </li> <li style="text-align:justify">Proactively work with markets to understand evolving Regulations and assess impact</li> </ul> <table cellspacing="0" class="MsoTableGrid" style="border:none"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="padding:0.0cm 7.0px 0.0cm 7.0px;vertical-align:top;width:608.0px"> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> REQUIREMENTS <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Minimum Degree holder major in any relevant disciple and above from a recognized tertiary institution</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Minimally 2 to 3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs and preferably in the cosmetic/beauty industry</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Possesses science / technical knowledge (ingredient, formulation, safety); ideally comes with a pharmacy background (Pharmacist) </li> </ul> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Proactive mind, interest in Regulatory Affairs and possesses positive learning attitude</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Self-motivated, organized and highly energized to work on multiple projects at same time and with speed </li> </ul> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Good to possess analytical skills and sound issue management capabilities</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Team player who demonstrates initiative and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, must be a team player</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Good command of English will be advantageous as it is necessary to have communication with the HQ and there may be possibilities of future business trips to the APAC region</li> </ul>
