<p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">We are a developer, investor, and operator of power generation and desalinated water plants, with 90 assets in operation, construction, or advanced development across 13 countries.</span></span></p> <p><strong>Job Purpose<br></strong>Lead R&D strategy and partnership platform development for ACWA's seawater desalination projects. Drive technology and process innovation and establish desalination pilot platforms to support project delivery and market demands.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Duties</strong></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px"> <li>Build and manage the seawater desalination R&D and pilot platform, identifying, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies and products.</li> <li>Establish and manage R&D collaboration with research institutes, universities, OEMs, and government entities.</li> <li>Translate industry and project requirements into actionable R&D plans and technology roadmaps.</li> <li>Oversee R&D project delivery, including timeline, budget, and internal/external stakeholder coordination.</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Qualification</strong></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px"> <li>Master's degree or above in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years (preferably 8+ years) of experience in process engineering, technology development, or R&D project management within the water treatment industry.</li> <li>Preference for candidates from specialized desalination R&D institutes, OEMs, engineering design institutes, or investment/operation enterprises.</li> <li>Demonstrated success in building R&D partnerships, managing platforms, and driving technology innovation within a project-driven environment.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px"> <li>Deep process engineering expertise in SWRO, MED, or related thermal/membrane desalination technologies.</li> <li>Proven capability in full-cycle R&D project management, including schedule control, budget management, and cross-functional coordination.</li> <li>Strong insight into industry demand and technology roadmap planning.</li> <li>Excellent collaboration, outreach, and communication skills.</li> </ul><h2><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Committed to creating a culture that is as diverse AND vibrant as the markets we serve</span></span></h2>
