The Digital team is focused on developing online capabilities for insurance companies on any platform, mobile, and web covering a wide range of self-service, commerce solutions aimed at optimizing the customers’ experience during engagements with their insurance companies & agents via digital channels.</p> <p> </p> <p>For more information about Sapiens: <a href="https://www.sapiens.com/solutions-categories/data-and-digital/">https://www.sapiens.com/solutions-categories/data-and-digital/</a></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:<br> Subject Matter Expert on technical environment/ tools for own area of expertise<br> Subject Matter Expert on business processes and procedures, as well as broader organizational issues and technology<br> Primary subject matter expert in multiple areas and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of analysis, design, hardware or software support and/or development of technical solutions<br> Work with business users to clarify ETL requirements and business rules for implementation of solutions and problem resolution.<br> Understand pre-designed insurance-specific target data models, meta data layer and data marts and ETL processes<br> Lead a team of ETL developers, Sr. ETL developers<br> Design, develop, implement, troubleshoot, optimize, and tune ETL processes<br> Create and execute unit test plans based on system and validation requirements.<br> Ensure that all timelines of loading/validating data are met.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Primary</strong>:<br> 1. Good understanding in the ETL Advanced concepts and administration activities to support R&D/Project<br> 2. Experience in understanding of different ETL tools (min 4) and Advanced transformations, Good in Talend, SAP BODS to support R&D/Project<br> 3. To be able to resolve all ETL code and administration issue<br> Secondary skills<br> 4. Ability to resolve complex Reporting challenges.<br> 5. Ability to create full-fledged dashboards with story boards/lines, drill down, linking etc.; design tables, views or datamarts to support these dashboards<br> 6. Ability understand, propose data load strategies which improves performance and visualizations<br> 7. Ability to performance tune SQL, ETL & Report, Universes<br> To understand Sapiens Intelligence Product and support below points<br> 1. Understands the Transaction Layer model for all modules<br> 2. Universe the Universe Model for all modules<br> 3. Should have End to End Sapiens Intelligence knowledge<br> 4. Should be able to independently demo or give training for Sapiens Intelligence product.<br> 5. Should be an SME in Sapiens Intelligence as a Product</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p> <ol> <li>3- 5 years of IT experince.</li> <li>Should have experience to understand the Advanced concepts of Insurance and has good command over at least all Business / Functional Areas (like NB, claims, Finance et al)</li> <li>Should have experience with developing a complete DWH ETL lifecycle</li> <li>Should have experience in developing ETL processes - ETL control tables, error logging, auditing, data quality, etc. - using ETL tools such as Talend, BODS, SSIS etc. Experience or knowledge in Bigdata related tools like (Spark, Hive, Kafka, Hadoop, Horton works, Python, R) would be good to go</li> <li>Should have experience in developing SAP BO or any Reporting tool knowledge</li> <li>Should be able to implement reusability, parameterization, workflow design, etc.</li> <li>Should have experience of interacting with customers in understanding business requirement documents and translating them into ETL specifications and Low/High level design documents</li> <li>Experience in understanding complex source system data structures – preferably in Insurance services (Insurance preferred)</li> <li>Experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling and Data Mart design </li> <li>Strong database development skills like complex SQL queries, complex stored procedures</li> <li>Good verbal and written communication in English, Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li> <li>Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.</li> <li>Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites across the globe</li> </ol> <p> </p> <p><strong>DWH Knowledge:</strong></p> <p>1.Should have experience to understand Data Models and make required model extensions for Transactional and Analytical models<br> 2. Should have experience to design data model (complex: more than 4 Facts & 20 dimensions)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Process Knowledge:</strong><br> 1. Should have experience in chart comprehensive report reconciliation strategies & validation<br> 2. Should have experience in Chart Process guidelines, best practices & ensure adherence from other team members<br> 3. Should have experience to work with other division BAs / Business users to understand / clarify Business requirement with minimum guidance to create ETL mappings, ETL Specifications (LLDs/HLDs) and Data load strategies.<br> 4. SDLC, Agile knowledge, JIRA</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Project Management:</strong><br> 1. Should have experience to coach & mentor Senior Developers<br> 2. Should have experience to set performance goals, evaluate and provide feedback<br> 3. Should have experience to provide estimations for complete Data integrations and representation/visualization for a project<br> 4. Lead a team and manage deliveries independently<br> 5.
