Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities: <ul> <li>You are expected to take lead in all data analysis and reconciliation discussions and act as a liaison between business users and BI development/technical team</li> <li>Lead requirement discovery sessions and document key requirements / KPIs for creation of reports and dashboards. <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Gain Functional understanding of Insurance Business process, Insurance Core Application and underlying data models so as to deliver the KPIs identified & defined during requirement discovery sessions</li> </ul> </li> <li>Work on data modelling and other data design activities on projects</li> <li>Design, develop and Review complex SQL queries required to deliver the KPIs</li> <li>To drive creation of reusable components, frameworks and models from executed BI projects</li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li>Should have minimum 6+ years’ experience within the IT space as business analyst with focused experience in BI/DWH.</li> <li>Should understand the domain specific business processes and associated KPI (i.e. Key performance Indicators) </li> <li>Should have experience in working with data models and data marts to delivery reporting & analytics solutions.</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with SQL and queries</li> <li>Have experience in using at least one modelling tools viz., Visio, Open Modelsphere, Toad, ER-win, etc. is a plus</li> <li>Strong domain knowledge of Financial Services. Insurance domain experience is preferred.</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.</li> <li>Willing to work part of the day according to US Business hours.</li> </ul>
