Senior Product Analyst is a senior member in the Product Analyst team of IDIT R&D who is responsible for managing requirements for complex features in the system. The candidate should be able to run workshops with domain managers, Product Managers, customers to elicit the requirements and present solution design and eventually take the requirement through to implementation. The person should be able to mentor and train other BAs. Pre-requisites Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification Experience Should have some technical experience and then moved to a BA role Insurance or BFSI experience is a must. Prior knowledge of Core Insurance is a must Experience of having worked in at least an implementation project for 2 years. Leading end to end requirements for at least 2 modules. Knowledge & Skills Intermediate IE skills Intermediate SQL and data modelling skills is a must. Understanding of SDLC and AGILE concepts is a must. Very good verbal and written communication skills. Good Understanding of Insurance Products and processes. (At least 2 LOBs and associated processes) As above 1. Gather business requirements for complex changes in the system 2. Document requirements in SDS, setup books. 3. Analyse and prioritize defects. 4. Perform configuration changes on the system to implement the changes and defect fixes when required 5. Conduct requirement discussion with Principal Product Analysts, Product Owner, Domain Managers and customers 6. Co-ordinate implementation of changes with development and QA teams. 7. Conduct walkthrough of requirements with development and QA teams 8. Attend daily stand-ups. 9. Conduct User forums 10. Conduct training sessions for junior members of the team 11. Work as a core representative on project teams as needed. 12. Understand and contribute to core/ Asia product roadmap 9-15 years of relevant experience
