We are still in early stage of the transition and looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing department, take the role of a core finance team member and maintain the solid foundation that we build our growth upon. We are looking for a Senior Accountant with a main responsibility for the Danish entity. The role is expected to extend over time and cover other Nordic countries as we merge the current Sapiens business with our operations. The Senior Accountant is expected to grow into a lead accounting role supporting the accounting for our subsidiaries. About the job As our new senior accountant your primary tasks are: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify"><a name="_Hlk66880031">Day-to-day accounting</a></li> <li style="text-align:justify">Invoices approval and posting</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Payments - creating, posting and clearing</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Prepare and book provisions</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Bank reconciliation</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Reconciliation of balance items with relation to month end and year end activities</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Manage depreciations of assets</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Provide VAT reporting/settlement</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Reports to various public authorities, such as SKAT, holiday account and refund</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Execution of payroll via outsourcing agency and booking in the system</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Assistance with the quarterly and yearly Audit</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Ad hoc tasks within the finance team.</li> </ul> About You The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated with a drive for supporting business and finance. We are looking for an experienced Accountant with at least 5 years of experience from a similar position. You have a surplus capacity and an open mind which allow you to adapt in a changing environment and improve processes. You are able to fulfill Accounting tasks independently and have good communication skills. About the Team We are currently around 90 employees in the Danish part of Tia and we are expected to grow with the addition of business in the other Nordic and Baltic countries. This means that we focus on providing the framework for our accounting department to solve its tasks well and that we share information about the business across our finance function.
