<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Role Purpose</H2> </div><div><p>Provide hands-on guidance, support, and advice to site Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors to enhance the<br> efficiency of their responsibilities and tasks.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Accountabilities</H2> </div><div><p><b>Operational Direction</b><br> ▪ Ensure timely and achievable target quantification and submissions by proactively identifying and resolving issues<br> to support the accurate completion of MTOs, BOQs, and variation orders.<br> ▪ Ensure that all variation orders are accurately priced and approved by the client to secure timely reimbursement<br> and avoid financial discrepancies.<br> ▪ Assist in negotiating and finalizing change orders, additional work, and quantity ledger pricing with stakeholders<br> to reach mutual agreement and prevent future disputes.<br> ▪ Assist in Preparing and maintaining a summary of approved and pending variation orders to help cost control to<br> provide clear visibility on project cost and changes.<br> ▪ Assist in Negotiating/ resolving contractual and commercial disputes with clients, consultants, and subcontractors<br> to minimize project disruptions, protect project interests, and maintain strong working relationships.<br> ▪ Attend client / consultant meetings to discuss and finalize quantity ledgers and pricing to ensure alignment on<br> financial matters and accurate billing.<br> ▪ Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Engineering, Procurement, Planning) and external stakeholders on<br> commercial and quantity-related matters.<br> ▪ Assist to Assess and manage commercial and contractual risks and evaluate the financial impact of potential project<br> changes.<br> ▪ Maintain detailed documentation and commercial records in compliance with audit, contractual, and organizational<br> requirements.<br> ▪ Comply with commercial international standards (i.e. Methods of Measurements, etc.), contract commercial<br> conditions, industry code of practice<br> ▪ Stay current with industry standards, market trends, and changes in quantity surveying regulations and<br> methodologies.<br> <b>Technical Direction</b><br> ▪ Create detailed Bills of Quantities systematically, ensuring they adhere to project-specific measurement guidelines<br> in a coherent manner.<br> ▪ Prepare complete and optimized interim payment applications (IPA), complying with contract procedures and in<br> timely manner to ensure comprehensive record-keeping and documentation throughout the project.<br> ▪ Identify, measure, evaluate, and address complex variations, including new rate build-up, while identifying and<br> mitigating contractual and commercial risks, and preparing draft correspondence.<br> ▪ Prepare final accounts and lead the financial close-out process by reconciling payments, variations, and contract</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Accountabilities</H2> </div><div><p>entitlements.<br> ▪ Re-measure quantities where required, especially under unit rate contracts, to reflect actual site conditions and<br> accurate billing<br> ▪ Assess and certify progress payments for contractors and subcontractors, ensuring timely and accurate<br> disbursement based on verified and approved work completed.<br> ▪ Support the preparation, submission, and evaluation of claims, including disputed variation orders and price<br> escalation claims, in coordination with project and legal teams.<br> ▪ Occasionally Review tender documentation, prepare bills of quantities, ensuring consistency and clarity for fair and<br> competitive bidding<br> <b>Policies, process and procedures</b><br> ▪ Follow all relevant Quantity Surveying processes, policies, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that<br> work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.<br> ▪ Demonstrate compliance with the organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a<br> value drive culture within the organization.<br> <b>Continuous Improvement</b><br> ▪ Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems,<br> processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.<br> <b>Quality, Health, Safety &amp;
