<h1>Clinical Application Specialist – Patient Monitoring &amp; Life Support</h1> <p><span style="color:white"><strong>Location: Edinburgh, Scotland | Inverness, Scotland | Glasgow, Scotland</strong></span></p> <h2><strong>Scotland | Edinburgh &amp; surrounding area preferred (Glasgow &amp; Inverness also considered)</strong></h2> <p>Do you thrive in high‑acuity clinical environments and want to use your expertise in a more commercial, customer‑facing role – without losing your clinical credibility?</p> <p> </p> <p>Mindray UK is looking for a <strong>Clinical Application Specialist (Patient Monitoring &amp; Life Support)</strong> to support and grow our presence across <strong>Scotland</strong>, working with cutting‑edge monitoring and life‑support technology in some of the region’s most critical care settings. </p> <p> </p> <p>This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced <strong>Clinical Applications professional</strong> – or a high‑calibre <strong>ODP or qualified Nurse</strong> ready to make the move into industry.</p> <p> </p> <hr> <h3>🏥 About the role</h3> <p> </p> <p>You’ll be the clinical expert and trusted partner to our customers, supporting the full journey of Mindray’s <strong>high‑acuity patient monitoring portfolio</strong> – from demonstrations and clinical evaluations through to installation, training and post‑sales support. </p> <p> </p> <p>Working closely with Sales and Field Service colleagues, you’ll help clinicians get the very best from our technology in <strong>ICU, theatre and high‑dependency environments</strong> across Scotland. The role covers the whole country, with a particular focus on <strong>Edinburgh </strong>and <strong>Inverness.</strong></p> <hr> <p> </p> <p><strong>Our ideal candidate</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Lives in <strong>Edinburgh or the surrounding area, or Glasgow</strong></li> <li>Currently works as a <strong>Clinical Application Specialist</strong> within a <strong>commercial medical device organisation</strong></li> <li>Has strong experience with <strong>high‑acuity patient monitoring</strong></li> <li>Comes from a clinical background as an <strong>ODP or qualified Nurse</strong> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>We will also happily consider</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates <strong>based around Inverness</strong></li> <li>ODPs or qualified Nurses <strong>coming directly from hospital settings</strong></li> <li>Strong ICU / high‑dependency experience, even <strong>without prior industry experience</strong>, where the clinical depth and motivation to move into a commercial role are clear</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>🔍 What you’ll be doing</h3> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Delivering <strong>product demonstrations, evaluations and clinical training</strong> in hospital environments</li> <li>Acting as the <strong>clinical product specialist</strong> for Mindray’s PMLS portfolio</li> <li>Supporting pre‑ and post‑sales activity alongside Sales and Service colleagues</li> <li>Building trusted relationships with clinicians and key decision‑makers</li> <li>Supporting product launches, marketing initiatives and congress activity</li> <li>Feeding back market, clinical and competitor insights to internal teams</li> <li>Continually developing your clinical, technical and product knowledge </li> </ul> <hr> <h3>✅ What we’re looking for</h3> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Qualified <strong>Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)</strong></li> <li>Strong experience in <strong>ICU / high‑acuity clinical environments</strong></li> <li>Background in <strong>patient monitoring</strong></li> <li>Confident communicator and presenter, comfortable training individuals and groups</li> <li>Organised, autonomous and happy to travel (up to ~70%)</li> <li>Previous <strong>clinical applications experience</strong> in industry is highly desirable – but not essential for strong hospital candidates</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>💡 Why Mindray?</h3> <p> </p> <p>Mindray is a fast‑growing, globally recognised medical technology company, combining <strong>innovation, quality and real clinical impact</strong>.
