<div><p style="padding: 10px;border: 1px solid transparent;"><p style="word-wrap: break-word;">Job Purposes </p><p><p style="text-align: justify;">Accountable for establishing the strategies including analyzing and solving strategic issues to support executive decision making and ultimately help define, shape and analyze the direction for Central Group and business groups. Leads and works on critical strategic projects involving growth strategies, evaluation of business development opportunities and management of corporate strategy.</p> </p></p><p style="padding: 10px;border: 1px solid transparent;"><p style="word-wrap: break-word;">Key Roles and Responsibilities </p><p><ul> <li>Establish strategic direction and a comprehensive understanding of the entire portfolio of businesses of Central Group for synchronization of all business groups (BG) including identifying and assessing growth opportunities for group and BGs</li> <li>Develop short, medium and long term business and product expansion strategic objectives and goals including collaborating with management to produce strategies to improve and enhance group and BG business performance and processes</li> <li>Take a lead to develop and implement strategies that satisfy business vision and strategic objectives by translating vision into strategic plan and goals and cascading those plan and goals to business level including ensuring on the understanding and implementation of strategic and operational objectives</li> <li>Act as the think tank of group and provide strategic guidance and actionable insights through business intelligence and market and industry analysis to top management in order to achieve sustainable business continuity</li> <li>Advise and provide recommendation on project feasibility studies and project planning, to ensure projects will achieve financial and non-financial objectives; secure required approvals for implementation and are set up correctly to minimize business risks</li> <li>Initiate group and BGs projects, manage the outcomes, resources, and overall execution of the corporate exercises such as reorganization and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, listing and joint venture to ensure they are carried out as planned and aligned with business vision</li> <li>Control and prove investment proposals/partnership opportunities to determine suitability for group's involvement including managing proposed proposals or opportunities from financial evaluation, research and due diligence, negotiation, through to BOD approval and deal execution</li> <li>Monitor and provide recommendations on research and insight to determine business trends, industry needs, and customer preferences, to optimize strategy, to develop markets, to recommend policy and to assist in the development of yearly and long range business plans</li> </ul> </p></p><p style="padding: 10px;border: 1px solid transparent;"><p style="word-wrap: break-word;">Standard Roles </p><p>" <p><u>Planning</u></p> <ul> <li>Participate in developing vision, business directions and strategy</li> <li>Set up functional policies, strategies, and business plans that aligning with business directions and goals and focusing on long-term profitability including creating value</li> <li>Approve annual budget of all functions under responsibility </li> <li>Manage budgets and resource plans as well as manage the operating cost of function within the approved budgets and resources </li> <li>Manage, follow up, and evaluate functional performance and ensure targeted goals and plans are carried out accurately</li> <li>Delegate responsibilities to others and apply operational or strategic management skills</li> <li>Provide leadership and manage the performance and responsibilities of the function</li> </ul> <p><u>General Management</u></p> <ul> <li>Keep up to date with the business trends and new technology for applying in own function to improve and enhance productivity within organization </li> <li>Advise and provide recommendations on the current process improvement activities</li> <li>Review, monitor and control the operational plans and activities within own function to drive to business success as planned </li> </ul> <p><u>People Management</u></p> <ul> <li>Participate in approving manpower plan and position structure within own functions</li> <li>Communicate organizational vision and directions to subordinates to create mutual understanding and coordination</li> <li>Provide coaching, mentoring, advice, and problem solving to subordinates to develop their knowledge and skills to effectively perform their duties aligning with business directions and changing environment</li> <li>Manage and monitor functional performance which drives and aligns with organizational goals </li> </ul> " </p></p><p style="padding: 10px;border: 1px solid transparent;"><p style="word-wrap: break-word;">Qualifications </p><p><ul> <li>Master’s Degree in business administration or related fields</li> <li>Minimum of 15-18 years of progressively responsible experience in corporate finance, strategy, corporate planning or business development</li> <li>Minimum of 7-10 years of team management</li> </ul> </p></p></div>
