Profile Summary We are looking for an Analyst to join our C&IB Coverage and Regional Management Team. Duties and Responsibilities <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Provide assistance to RMs and Associates in the team for business development including marketing and planning.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Support with origination focused workflows, specifically to client and sector research, production of high quality specific /general pitch materials, modelling related to quasi M&A/complicated structured deals, and creation of business strategy.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Help the department to hit profit target by working closely with and supporting dedicated primary RMs, Associates, and senior team members.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Primary purpose/responsibility are including; <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Contributing to deal origination focused workflows including creation of account plan/new idea for specific names based on client/industry research, negotiation with client.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Production of high quality marketing materials for specific clients and cross product pitch materials including response to RFPs which differentiate Mizuho from its competitors.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Build and maintain financial Models of quasi M&A and complex structured deals</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Coordinate with global and regional product teams to gather inputs, align deliverables, and ensure timely execution of pitches and client requests.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Prepare sector updates, industry analysis, and market commentary to support client strategy and internal discussions.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Work closely with credit analysts by preparing initial credit analysis, supporting credit submissions, and maintaining ongoing client monitoring materials.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Engagement with planning of midterm country business strategy including EXP management plan and creation of internal presentation materials</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Ensure full adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards across all workstreams.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Maintain strong awareness of compliance obligations and risk considerations in all client- and market related activities.</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Provide ad‑hoc research, analysis, and administrative support as requested by RMs, Associates, and senior team members.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> Qualifications, Skills, and Experience <ul> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent </li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Great organisational and time management skills</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Excellent communication skills</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Strong numerical and analytical skills</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Customer-centric career experience</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Demonstrable ability to innovate, support change and problem solve</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Collaborative nature to contribute to a successful team performance</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Sound knowledge of the Banking Industry</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">High level of computer literacy and skills in data manipulation / presentation</li> <li style="line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Language skills are an asset, but not essential</li> </ul> At Mizuho we are committed to supporting equality, diversity and equality, and seek to create a workplace that is fully inclusive.
