You will develop and coach employees, support training initiatives, monitor key performance indicators, and proactively address operational challenges to drive productivity and ensure products are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 24.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Complete GEMBA walks and MSHA workplace inspections in the production areas. Enter near misses, safety deviations, or other incident types to ensure the safety of the team, and to comply with environmental and safety regulations. </li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 24.0px;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Keep a high standard for housekeeping activities and embrace the company safety requirements/initiatives.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 24.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Hold the individuals accountable for the results, including production, quality and training.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 24.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Lead the training of the employees, to secure we can deliver the production plan, minimizing cost (overtime, waste, etc.) and delivering products when the customers expect them. </li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 24.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures. </li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 24.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Conduct competency testing for all direct reports. Motivate the employees to train and acquire new capabilities that allows them to operate different processes.</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 24.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Avoid or correct the deviations that will impact the production and cost plan. Continuously report in SAP the conditions that needs to be corrected to avoid significant unplanned events. </li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 24.0px;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Encourage the team to use the digital tools to report shift events, downtime, production. Continuously monitor the main KPIs, and act with a high sense of urgency when something is outside the operation envelope.
