Your skills profile should include the following: <ul> <li>Previous experience as a M&E Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor/MEP Subcontrcator, focussing on supporting M&E Packages</li> <li>Strong commercial awareness</li> <li>BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar</li> <li>Experience covering both pre and post contract</li> <li>Demonstrates strong attention to detail/producing accurate work</li> <li>Effective Communicator</li> <li>Shares knowledge with others</li> <li>Managing (M&E) subcontractor packages</li> <li>Effective time manager</li> </ul> Role Summary: Managing commercial aspects of a project. Liaison and collaboration with the construction and design teams in all M&E aspects of contractual activities. Maximising commercial results and to represent and meet client expectations and encourage repeat business. Key Responsibilities and Roles: <ul> <li>Ensure optimum commercial return for the project</li> <li>Accurately prepare cost/value reconciliation reports</li> <li>Agree interim valuations on schedule for commercial advantage</li> <li>Prepare and finalise client accounts with senior management</li> <li>Finalise subcontractor accounts to maximise margins</li> <li>Prepare subcontract orders per company procedures, aligned with procurement schedules and contract programs</li> <li>Control subcontractor accounts and minimise variation costs</li> <li>Manage subcontractor valuations and correspondence</li> <li>Prepare turnover cash flow forecasts, updating and recording actuals as required</li> <li>Submit interim valuations and projected final accounts with each report</li> <li>Evaluate and agree on interim valuations and stage payments</li> <li>Support in resolving delays and document relevant information</li> <li>Report potential problems to the Line Manager and seek guidance</li> <li>Provide feedback to the project team and estimating department</li> <li>Possess knowledge of relevant contracts and assist in resolving disputes</li> <li>Re-measure subcontractor values and arrange payments as per company procedures</li> <li>Attend project meetings as directed</li> </ul> Why Bouygues Our teams deploy technically innovative solutions for a diverse range of challenging projects throughout the UK, Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.
