<p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The Institute of Communications and Navigation at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) is dedicated to mission-oriented research in selected areas of communications and navigation. The work ranges from theoretical foundations to the demonstration of new procedures and systems in a real environment and is embedded in the DLR programs Space, Aeronautics, Transport, Security and Digitalization.</span></p> <p> </p><p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>What to expect</strong></span></p> <p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The Nautical Systems Department at the DLR Institute of Communication and Navigation develops and tests new processes and technologies for land-based and on-board support in ship navigation, among other things.
