At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL. </span></span><br> </p> <p>We are currently seeking a Coater Technician who will be responsible for keeping optical components moving from cleaning operations to coating chamber operations. They will also perform cleaning and inspection of substrates and coated components.</p> <p> </p> <p>Main responsibilities:</p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Cleans, inspects and measures more advanced/complex substrates to ensure quality. </li> <li>Packages optical components</li> <li>Sets up tooling</li> <li>Loads parts into chambers</li> <li>Starts coating runs</li> <li>May perform tooling fit checks/reviews</li> <li>Able to read and comprehend prints for determining specs on surface quality, substrate dimensions, arrow marking for side one and side two, packaging requirements</li> <li>May begin training and/or perform second check chamber start</li> <li>Understanding of non-conforming material and how to scrap material</li> <li>Understanding of substrate material</li> <li>Inspection of normal product</li> <li>Trained on ISO / mil / final inspection</li> <li>Raising tech issues with tooling, specs, process sheets, etc</li> <li>Understanding defect types</li> <li>Other tasks as assigned</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Qualifications: </p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred.</li> <li>Teamwork – works effectively within the team. </li> <li>Experience working in a cleanroom environment</li> <li>At least 2 years of work experience in a process manufacturing environment is desired</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Pay Range: $20.00- $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.</p> <p> </p> <p>Our facility in Boulder, Colorado, has key functions in Research and Development, Operations, Production, and other disciplines.
