At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL. </span></span><br> </p> <p>We are presently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain the Manufacturing facility and equipment in working condition to support business needs in a fast-paced production environment.</p> <p> </p> <p>Main responsibilities:</p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and building systems</li> <li>Understanding of PLC’s ability to access programs for troubleshooting purposes</li> <li>Common knowledge of hand tools and electrical testing equipment</li> <li>Install, maintain, and repair electrical pumps, motors, heaters, piping systems, and water systems</li> <li>Maintain detailed documentation of service ticket repair and preventive maintenance</li> <li>Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general manufacturing equipment such as motors and rotating machinery. </li> <li>Work with production personnel to troubleshoot and understand mechanical problems</li> <li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.</li> <li>Maintains building, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and process gas systems</li> <li>Continually and informally assesses building, grounds, and machinery for functionality, professional appearance, and safety.</li> <li>Support the Safety Program with facilities issues</li> <li>Valid driver’s license and good driving record</li> <li>Work with outside suppliers and vendors as required to support all the above</li> <li>Assists the Facilities Manager with daily and special projects</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant Manufacturing facility maintenance function(s)</li> <li>High School diploma or equivalent required, some college or trade schools preferred</li> <li>Ability to follow verbal instructions</li> <li>Personal Computer skills, including proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel</li> <li>Demonstrated dependability and flexibility</li> <li>Ability to work independently as well as with a team</li> <li>Positive, honest, creative, and energetic attitude</li> <li>Ability to handle multiple roles and support requests simultaneously with excellent follow-up</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds</li> <li>Ability to be on your feet for eight hours</li> <li>Electrical experience/skills preferred</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Benefits start day 1: PAID Maternity/Paternity leave, Tuition Reimbursement, Long-term and Short-term disability Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay.</p> <p> </p> <p>Pay Range: $28-$35 per hour, depending on experience.</p> <p> </p> <p>Our facility in Boulder, Colorado, has key functions in Research and Development, Operations, Production, and other disciplines.
