At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL. </span></span><br> </p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure all tasks are comply to company procedural requirements, Quality, Environmental and Health standards (ISO 9001, AS9100D, ISO 14001, ISO45001) and Customer Specific requirements.</li> <li>Perform Incoming, First Article, Production Rejects and Customer Returns Verification activities. </li> <li>Program, set up, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision measuring instruments.</li> <li>Generate FAI / PPAP dimensional reports in accordance with AS9102 or customer requirements.</li> <li>Assist QA Engineer/Manager on the following<br> - Verify newly established Inspection Plan vs Drawing Specification<br> - Report if found any discrepancy on part drawing.<br> - Recommend methods or techniques of inspection </li> <li>Maintain completeness and correctness of IQA Inspections documents, reports and records.</li> <li>Liaise with Section in-charge for any clarification related to works and seek help to solve the issues on daily basis.</li> <li>Update and ensure accuracy of SAP Result Recording and SAP Usage Decision making. </li> <li>Verification of Inspection Report (ATR) and/or Inspection Plan (IP).</li> <li>Liaise with Section in-charge, other Section Leaders, Customer Quality and Process Engineer for technical clarification.</li> <li>Liaise with maintenance and calibration departments to ensure proper maintenance of measuring equipment and other small equipment (Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, etc), and monitor the calibration status. </li> <li>Additional task for Senior QA Technician <br> 1) Training of new technician/inspector and maintaining quality records as per customer requirement. <br> 2) Communicate to supplier for part quality and documentation issue.</li> </ul> <p>Requirements: </p> <ul> <li>Technical Certificate, Diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Preferred experience in Optics or Precision Machining industry.</li> <li>Able to read and write English.</li> <li>Ability to read and understand procedures, drawings and technical specifications to carry out the require inspection.</li> <li>Clear understanding of good documentation practices and quality system regulations and requirements.</li> <li>Proficency in general Microsoft application including MS Word and Excel. </li> <li>Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills.</li> <li>Good leadership skills and ability to suggest change.</li> <li>Knowledge of and adherence to quality system.</li> <li>Substantial understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work. </li> <li>Using of Optics measurement equipment (Interferometer, Coating Spectrophotometer) or Mechanical measurement equipment (CMM, Smart Scope, Profile Projector) and other small equipment (Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator etc)</li> </ul><p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer <br> Minorities/Females/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Excelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team!
