At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL. </span></span><br> </p> <p>We are presently seeking a <strong>Quality Engineer</strong> that be responsible for coordinating customer quality assurance requirements into company quality management processes and deliverables. </p> <p> </p> <p>Main responsibilities:</p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Lead others in developing a culture of collaboration, compliance, and respect.</li> <li>Collaborate within and across departments to improve the integrated management system (IMS).</li> <li>Demonstrate leadership and judgement in the development of quality planning for products and manufacturing processes, including in new product introduction (NPI).</li> <li>Lead cross functional teams in the development of systems and solutions to improve internal quality.</li> <li>Lead the development of failure modes and effects analyses, and the design of improvements to address high risk priority numbers.</li> <li>Perform measurement systems analyses and use the results to design improvements.</li> <li>Lead root cause analysis of quality problems in manufacturing.</li> <li>Manage the customer complaint process, prepare corrective actions, drive successful implementation, and update the customer on progress and outcomes.</li> <li>Drive projects to improve supplier quality.</li> <li>Serve as lead auditor for compliance with ISO 9001, both internally and onsite at our suppliers.</li> <li>Other duties as assgined</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Bachelor of science in math, engineering, physical science, or a minimum of 7 years’ experience as a QE.</li> <li>Experienced quality engineer in technical manufacturing.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to perform the listed duties and responsibilities and to mentor others in the same.</li> <li>Experience managing business-to-business customer relationships.</li> <li>Qualified lead auditor ISO 9001 preferreed.</li> <li>Strong background in statistics and SPC preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of materials science & surface characterization preferred.</li> <li>Data mining via SQL query and Power BI preferred.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Benefits start day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Holiday Pay, PAID Maternity/Paternity leave, Tuition Reimbursement, Long-term and Short-term disability.</p> <p>Pay Range: $73,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.</p> <p>Excelitas is a global technology leader with more than 7,500 employees, focused on delivering market-driven solutions to fulfill the illumination, optical, detection and imaging needs of OEMs and end-users across the biomedical, semiconductor, industrial, consumer products, scientific, security, defense and aerospace sectors.</p> <p>ENGAGE with us today and make your contribution to the future!
