For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.</span></p><h2><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Required Responsibilities</strong></span></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Perform incoming and outgoing inspections of optics and optical components</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct in-process inspections and production-related quality monitoring during the manufacturing of optics and optical components</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Carry out first article inspections as required</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide support to warehouse operations when needed</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Participate in annual inventory processes</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Collect data and provide input for the preparation of acceptance test reports (ATR) for optical products</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide materials for production orders as required</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain, apply, and continuously improve inspection plans</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare non-conformance reports (NCR), quality notifications, and handle customer complaints</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <h2><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Solid knowledge of technical optics</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with manufacturing processes for optical components</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Familiarity with DIN ISO 10110 standards</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of relevant measurement tools and systems</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Understanding of standard inspection procedures in the field of optics</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Good IT skills, particularly in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, and Teams</p> </li> </ul><p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We welcome suitable applications regardless of gender, cultural and social background, age, religion, ideology, disability or sexual identity. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team! </span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Visit: <a href="https://jobs.excelitas.com/">https://jobs.excelitas.com/</a></span></p>
