At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL. <br><span style="">X</span></span></span></p><p><span style="">We are currently looking for a Technician on the <strong>night shift</strong> who will be responsible for providing technical support mainly for electrical tests in addition to production operations the rest of the time.</span></p> <p><span style="">This hybrid position will allow the technician to carry out both production and support production.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><strong> </strong></span></p> <p><span style=""><strong>Your responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Establish and maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment;</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><em>Production support:</em></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Support electrical testing processes for silicon and III-V products: chips on ceramic, post-assembly, pre-sealing</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Understand the underlying processes that can affect the performance of electrical tests (wafer manufacturing, chip processing, product assembly) for any possible problem study and resolution;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Document processes to guarantee their stability;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Train and provide support to production staff;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Work as a team to resolve process problems;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Report and document problems related to processes or equipment failures. Take the required corrective and preventive measures;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Perform other related tasks as required.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><em>Production :</em></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Prepare mechanical and electrical jigs and optical setups to support and test components.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Perform specified electrical, optical and environmental tests on equipment (computer-assisted if necessary) following required procedures.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Prepare and record performance data on appropriate forms and on the computer.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Report difficulties and malfunctions or deviations from workflows.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Prepare daily reports as required.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><strong>Your qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Has a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in physics, electronics engineering or related field / equivalent experience;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">3 years experience with tests</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Has experience in setting up electrical testing processes, an asset;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Knowledge of processes and equipment for testing photodiodes, laser diodes or other electronic components;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Knowledge of Labview and Visual Basic programming language, an asset</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Knowledge of optics, an asset;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Perfectly mastered French (written and spoken) and good ability to communicate in English (written and spoken).</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p><p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">X</span><br>Our hiring criteria meets the requirements of the OLF. <br>All applicants must comply with the CGP (Controlled Goods Program). </span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style="">Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer <br>Minorities/Females/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation </span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style="">Excelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team!
