At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL. </span></span><br> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Tasks</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Conducting incoming goods inspections, measurements for in-process monitoring, and outgoing inspections/final qualifications in accordance with specifications</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Reviewing and evaluating supplier reports; documenting and archiving measurement results</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Use, manage, and program existing measuring and testing equipment—e.g., roughness measuring instruments, 3D coordinate measuring machines, handheld measuring devices</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Assist with the monitoring, management, calibration, maintenance, and upkeep of the machine, measuring, and testing equipment pool</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Prepare non-conformance reports and initiate complaints as needed</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Profile</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Completed vocational training in a technical field – ideally with further training as a technician or master craftsman</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Experience working with conventional measuring and testing equipment – ideally also experience with 3D coordinate measuring machines</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li>In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering and relevant standards</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with MS Office applications</li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Willingness to work shifts</li> </ul> <p> </p><p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer <br> Minorities/Females/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Excelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team!
