<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Position Summary:</b></H2> </div><div><p>Responsible for project management activities relating to support of the Procurement and Purchasing Division in an automotive manufacturing environment.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Essential Functions:</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Track, measure, and report to ensure timeliness of the vehicle development project status from concept phase through mass production.</li> <li>Manage development schedule roadmap, including milestone planning.</li> <li>Communicate deliverables to cross functional teams to align goals and development schedules.</li> <li>Participate in development reviews and log risks, issues, and contingency plans.</li> <li>Track investment cost, part supply, and quality issues throughout development cycle.</li> <li>Create project and development status report.</li> <li>Maintain up-to-date development part list information database.</li> <li>Explore available methodologies and implement best practices related to project management.</li> <li>Schedule and coordinate 5-star audit process.</li> <li>Analyze 3M quality claim information and in-plant quality issues tailored to the Purchasing Division.</li> <li>Review vehicle short and midterm volume target and lead feasibility study.</li> <li>Collect and evaluate SUB KD and high-risk part inventory status.</li> <li>Support purchasing management team data request gathering, summary, and reporting as needed.</li> <li>Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.</li> <li>Meet all other requirements as assigned.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Education:</b></H2> </div><div><p>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Related Experience:</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>0 – 10 years job related experience preferred</li> <li>OEM or parts components supplier experience desired</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Skills / Knowledge:</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word</li> <li>SAP preferred</li> <li>Excellent project management and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Proficient knowledge about automotive component supply chain quality control and manufacturing processes</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Additional Information:</b></H2> </div><div><p>Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign).
