<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Position Summary:</b></H2> </div><div><p>Perform engineering duties in inspecting, planning, and accomplishing repairs to facility, machines, and other electrical functioning equipment and systems.<br>Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems. Provide technical support to achieve established business goals<br>and objectives directly related to the Utilities/Operations department in an automotive manufacturing environment.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Essential Functions:</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Develop, design, coordinate, and lead activities in the installation and maintenance of electrical system equipment and distribution systems including<br>supporting production equipment as requested by departments/shops.</li> <li>Research issues, analyze consumption and energy data, and develop countermeasures for downtime incidents.</li> <li>Provide technical direction and support to identify and troubleshoot problems, propose countermeasures, and resolve issues.</li> <li>Development and oversee preventative maintenance plans.</li> <li>Assist in maintain spare parts for electrical systems and equipment.</li> <li>Design new installation as needed for replacement of old equipment.</li> <li>Monitor contractor work for compliance with NEC, Building Electrical Codes, and HMMA departmental, safety, and quality standards.</li> <li>Support and/or lead continuous improvement activities in regard to new technologies and energy savings.</li> <li>Provide technical training to Team Members as needed.</li> <li>Develop, document, and present technical presentations.</li> <li>Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management<br>System (SMS) requirements. Team Member may be required to handle hazardous wastes which may include identifying, inspecting, packaging, labelling, and<br>moving waste in compliance with RCRA regulations.
