<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Genesis Design Center - Design Engineer</b></H2> </div><div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>WHAT YOU WILL DO</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Design and engineering body structure, advanced packaging for concept programs.</li> <li>Understand the requirements and create feasibility studies based on the US Designs.</li> <li>Foster communication between the Engineering Department in Korea and the US Design Team.</li> <li>Find solutions to help Designers meet the production program engineering requirements.</li> <li>Coordinated with the Studio, completing feasibility studies for interior trim and seating.</li> <li>Create Design Guides for the Studio considering design needs and package requirements.</li> <li>Resolve design feasibility issues alongside the designers for all studio programs.</li> <li>Analyze concepts through both 3D digital simulation and physical prototypes.</li> <li>Study and be aware of New Technologies/Structures that could be implemented into Design proposals.</li> <li>Research new developments in: Platform, Engineering & Emerging Technology that could influence the Design of future cars.</li> <li>Proficient in CATIA V5 generating surface data.</li> <li>Candidates should be willing to participate in a CATIA V5 evaluation that will last about 1 hour.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering</li> <li>5+ years experience working in Automotive Engineering, prefer Studio Experience</li> <li>Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai-Kia must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
