Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology to support the development of innovative therapeutics for autoimmune diseases and oncology. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in preclinical in vivo models and a solid understanding of immunology and translational research. In this role, you will design and execute in vivo studies, perform downstream ex vivo analyses, and collaborate cross-functionally (including with CRO partners) to advance drug discovery programs. In vivo models are critical for evaluating therapeutic efficacy, immune modulation, and translational relevance in both autoimmune and tumor settings This position is onsite and will be primarily located in Cambridge, MA. Key Responsibilities <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Design and execute in vivo pharmacology studies in autoimmune and tumor models. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Perform in vivo procedures including animal dosing (IV, IP, SC, PO), tumor implantation, disease induction, and tissue collection. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Conduct ex vivo analyses from collected tissues, including: Flow cytometry for immune profiling, qPCR for gene expression analysis and cytokine and biomarker assessment </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Analyze and interpret data (tumor growth, disease scores, immune readouts) and prepare clear study summaries and presentations. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Collaborate with internal teams and external CROs to design, execute, and monitor outsourced studies; ensure data quality and timely delivery. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Contribute to study design, including model selection, dosing strategies, and endpoint definition. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards (e.g., IACUC).</li> </ul> Qualifications <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0in;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">PhD, Masters, Bachelors, in Immunology, Biology, Pharmacology, or a related discipline. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">PhD 0+, Masters 10+ years, Bachelors 12+ of hands-on experience in in vivo pharmacology within biotech or pharmaceutical settings. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Demonstrated expertise in autoimmune disease models and tumor models, including study design, execution, and data interpretation. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Proficiency in common in vivo techniques: animal handling and dosing (multiple routes), tumor implantation and measurement, disease scoring in autoimmune models, necropsy and tissue collection.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Experience analyzing downstream endpoints such as flow cytometry, cytokine assays, molecular biomarkers, qPCR, and ELISA assays. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Demonstrated ability to independently design experiments, troubleshoot, and manage multiple studies simultaneously. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to scientific rigor and reproducibility. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.</li> </ul> #LI-JR1U.S. Pay Range $110,400.00 - $165,600.00 The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
