We combine deep sector knowledge with a collaborative, forward-thinking approach to support clients and colleagues across an international environment.</p> <hr> <p><strong>About the Team</strong></p> <p>This role sits within the finance function supporting the Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg (Benelux) region.</p> <p>The Benelux finance team is responsible for delivering accurate, well-controlled financial operations across the region. You will report into the Senior Finance Manager (Benelux) and work alongside another Accountant to jointly cover the full region.</p> <hr> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a Financial Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations.</p> <p>This is a hands-on role supporting the full range of financial accounting activity for the Benelux region, including month-end close, supplier accounting, expenses, VAT and tax support, audit preparation, banking, reporting and working capital support.</p> <hr> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <p>We are particularly interested in candidates with:</p> <p>• Relevant accounting experience, ideally within a professional services, legal, consulting or international environment<br>• Strong general ledger experience, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, journals and month-end support<br>• Good VAT knowledge, including experience supporting VAT returns and related reconciliations<br>• Experience working across multiple entities, jurisdictions or currencies, preferably within a Benelux or international structure<br>• Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems; SAP, Concur and Power BI would be advantageous<br>• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure<br>• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities<br>• Confidence working with internal stakeholders, external accountants, auditors and service providers<br>• A proactive, collaborative approach with sound judgement on when to escalate matters</p> <p>A finance qualification is required (e.g. bachelor’s or master’s in accounting or finance).</p> <p>Language requirements: Fluent English is essential.
