<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Summary/Overview</b></H2> </div><div><p>The Wirer I performs all aspects of wiring of control panels to produce the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost, in accordance with company policies and procedures.<em> </em></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Review work order for the correct parts and drawings.</li> <li>Follow schematics and layouts to wire panels to meet customer specifications. </li> <li>Ensure the use of the correct wires. </li> <li>Perform all crimping and lugging activities and ensure wire Ty-bases are in the correct locations per the company’s wiring standards.</li> <li>The ability to wire standard and certain engineered panels.</li> <li>Perform all required quality inspections per the Quality Checklist.</li> <li>Apply all required labels.</li> <li>Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.</li> <li>Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Work with wire gauges of 18Awg – 450mcm</li> <li>Requires the ability to operate a variety of small hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, wire strippers, cutters and crimpers, and a tie wrap gun. </li> <li>May require the ability to use a computer to enter data.</li> <li>Ability to read and comprehend product specifications, blueprints, and schematics.</li> <li>Ability to complete required paperwork, documentation, and records.</li> <li>Regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.</li> <li>Frequently required to walk. </li> <li>Required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. </li> <li>Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Required Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><p>High school diploma or equivalent; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</p></div></div></div>
