Join our growing Space Superiority &amp; Imaging Division as a Program Manager, Subcontracts, where you will play a critical role in delivering high-visibility prime contract work that supports mission-focused innovation. In this role, you will lead a dedicated Supplier Management Team and serve as the key driver of subcontract performance across the full lifecycle. You will collaborate with internal program leaders and supplier executives to ensure the hardware and systems we procure meet demanding technical, schedule, cost, and production goals.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Essential Functions:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Act as the primary liaison between Program Leadership, IPT Lead, Engineering, Quality, Subcontract Manager, and supplier leadership/functional counterparts</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Monitor and report technical performance of procured hardware and systems</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Lead risk identification, mitigation, and escalation processes</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Manage supplier production plans, delivery milestones, and budget health</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ensure all subcontract work meets or exceeds affordability requirements</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Represent the program in occasional travel to supplier sites</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Understand supplier Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and key Earned Value Management System (EVMS) metrics performance against IMS</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Collaborate across Business Development, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, and Operations to ensure integrated program success</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to obtain U.S. Government security clearance</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Qualifications:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; or Graduate degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Preferred Additional Skills:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Previous work experience in a fast-paced continuous-change integration environment</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Law, or Business preferred</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Experience in government and commercial contracting/subcontracting, managing supplier performance in the areas of technical scope, schedule, cost, and risk mitigation</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Extensive management and leadership skills to lead cross-department project teams or manage projects across the enterprise</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to effectively use matrix organizations to win business and get results, with a demonstrated ability to lead high-performance teams</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Able to interpret, condense, and present findings to audiences with variable skill sets and experience levels</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Excellent presentation skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations, and external customers</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• PMP certification is preferred</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Lean Six Sigma experience</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Experience as Cost Account Manager for Subcontracts, managing budgets and sales forecasting</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to travel to supplier facilities periodically</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $127,500-$236,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont, and Virginia is $110,500-$205,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
