Since 1954, Woodgrain is proud to be family owned and operated. Job Summary: The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions within the Corporate Division. This role encompasses a broad range of professional accounting duties and plays a critical role in the financial management of the organization. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the financial activities of the Corporate Division. The Corporate Accounting Manager will lead the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements, accounting records, and reports. Additionally, this role is responsible for developing annual budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning. The position also serves as a key business partner, providing accurate and timely financial data to senior leadership to support informed decision-making. As a member of the Finance Leadership Team, the Corporate Accounting Manager is expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting and compliance activities. This role requires expert-level knowledge of accounting principles and practices and plays a vital role in achieving the organization’s financial and operational objectives. Preference will be given to master’s degree</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">A CPA certification is required, or proof of candidacy will be considered with completion in first 12 months of hire</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">At least 5 years of experience in a finance role, precious accounting experience is preferred</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Must have a basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statements</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Previous experience working within SAP is preferred.
