This position plays a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of interior doors. Duties may rotate throughout the workday and vary based on departmental needs. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to safety, quality, teamwork, and productivity while contributing to the overall output of the department. Duties & Responsibilities: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Replenish staging areas with raw materials for door construction, including sizing cardboard filler materials and organizing stiles and rails.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Flip door skins and prepare materials according to order specifications.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Assemble door components to build interior doors, including feeding and offloading production lines.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Move finished door stacks to and from hydraulic press systems and queue holding areas.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Assist machine center operators by feeding and offloading doors in equipment such as sizers, routers, and paint booths.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Verify door quality throughout the production process and identify defects.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Notify operators, supervisors, or managers of quality concerns immediately.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Package finished doors, including plastic wrapping, corner protection, banding, and completing appropriate documentation.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Perform data entry and order processing in SAP.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Maintain clean and organized work areas in alignment with 5S principles.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Follow all safety policies, including proper PPE usage and entanglement policy compliance.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Demonstrate flexibility by performing other duties as assigned to support department goals.</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">High School Diploma or GED required.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">90 days to 1 year of related experience and/or on-the-job training preferred.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Ability to work well in a team-oriented, close-proximity manufacturing environment.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Reliable attendance and punctuality required.</li> </ul> Travel: This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and loud noise levels requiring proper PPE.
