Duties & Responsibilities: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant’s facility equipment.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair or production machines.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper management.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Other duties may be assigned</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Manufacturing maintenance experience </li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical and industrial skills.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Basic computer skills</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Troubleshooting/ diagnostic abilities.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Strong electrical knowledge </li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Excellent People skills.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Problem solving skills.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Multi-tasking.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Ability to solve problems using critical thinking.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">Effective time management and organizational skills.</li> <li style="font-family:'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif">High level attention to detail.</li> </ul> Physical Demands:The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise level is moderate to high depending on the area of the mill. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
