<p><strong>Job Title: Component Integration Engineering Specialist </strong></p> <p><strong>Job Location: </strong><strong>Montréal, QC</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Code: 32974</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Schedule: </strong><strong>Day</strong><strong> Shift</strong></p> <p><strong>Compensation Range: Between $</strong><strong>75,000 </strong><strong>- $</strong><strong>115,000 </strong><strong>CDN annually</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About your next</strong><strong> Challenge as a Component Integration Engineering Specialist</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <p><strong>What will you do: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Select mechanical and electronic components used for the control of naval platforms</li> <li>Coordinate with suppliers in the development of equipment suitable for naval environments</li> <li>Coordinate with software and hardware teams to define equipment requirements</li> <li>Stay at the forefront in advances in technology in the marine control industry</li> <li>Prepare test procedures and reports for equipment environmental qualification testing</li> <li>Review customer specifications to develop traceable system requirements</li> <li>Review environmental requirements on naval programs</li> <li>Support to obsolescence management for in-service programs</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Required Skills and Experiences:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in naval or aerospace engineering</li> <li>Experience with military or industrial environmental qualification standards or specifications (e.g. MIL-STD-901, MIL-STD-187A)</li> <li>Experience with computer integration and testing</li> <li>Familiarity with computer design</li> <li>Familiarity with ship classification society standards (e.g. Lloyds Register, DNV) is an asset</li> <li>Demonstrate interpersonal and team work skills</li> <li>Excellent communication skills</li> <li>Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills</li> <li>The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be eligible for registration with the <strong>Controlled Goods Program</strong>;</li> <li>Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada <strong>“Reliability”</strong> status and <strong>Level 2 (Secret)</strong> security clearance.</li> <li>Must be eligible to meet the requirements for <strong>U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)</strong>.</li> </ul>
