Manufacturing Engineering, and Inspection. This position supports new and existing electronic circuit products, in an ESD and FOD sensitive lab environment. Primary duties include automated, semi-automated, and hand install assembly operations. A successful candidate will be able to transition between various aspects of circuit card assembly, in unison with building a variety of different designs, with minimal supervision.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Perform manufacturing activities in compliance with quality standards, specifications, and workmanship requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Implement manufacturing operation sequences and provide feedback on the ability to meet manufacturing requirements and specifications.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting of failed electronic components and assemblies.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Implement assembly methods, tooling, and manufacturing aids required to meet special design engineering requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Correct manufacturing issues by making adjustments or replacing parts and components as directed.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Accurately document work is performed and communicate effectively to ensure activities are properly recorded in accordance with customer and quality expectations.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Maintain professional standards of performance, conduct, and judgment at all times in accordance with company policies and procedures.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Support overtime, including nights, weekends, and extended hours, as needed to meet production schedules and business demands.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Obtain and maintain IPC-A-610 certification, “Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.”</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Serve as a resource to other employees in areas of expertise.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">May be required to lift moderate weights.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in circuit card assembly.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Preferred Additional Skills:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience with prototype builds and first-time build processes.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience supporting manufacturing process improvements through the use of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, or similar continuous improvement tools.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Ability to interpret schematics, logic drawings, layouts, wire lists, and engineering prints.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in a fast-paced production environment.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Ability to follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.</span></li> </ul>
