<p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Job Title:</strong> Specialist, Material Management</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Job Code:</strong> 39547</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Job Location:</strong> Rochester, New York</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Work Schedule:</strong> 9/80 (Every other Friday Off!)</span></p> <p><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Job Description:</strong> </span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to effectively time phase material to service cash flow objectives and program schedule.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Plan, schedule and drive the efficient movement of material from identification of the requirement to delivery to the end user.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Define raw material scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Manage material cost and schedule, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and affordability with the ability to predict, identify and reconcile any relevant Supply Chain disruptions that develop throughout the program lifecycle.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Coordinate key cross functional Supply Chain resources to ensure scale-able internal capacity.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Coordinate material distribution with purchasing, warehouse, and end user.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Plan and schedule materials, equipment, and commodity products of high complexity for government and commercial programs. </span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Work with purchasing and quality on corrective action measures with Suppliers when necessary and assessing trends in performance to prevent delays or cost overrun</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Develop strategies, implement plans, and track progress for cost savings initiatives.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Provide timely and accurate Supply Chain updates to Senior Management<br><br></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong> </span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Motivated self-starter well versed in the Supply Chain Process Flow and managing material in the areas of schedule and cost.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to generate spending plans, forecasts, and variance reports</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Work should be performed within set boundaries and with very little direct supervision. </span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide array of professional levels and functions. Manage program budgets and explain variances in monthly performance. </span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to navigate FAR regulations and internal procedures for compliance. </span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Support Small Business Initiatives, as applicable.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Follow strategic direction set by Program and functional leadership<br><br></span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Qualifications:</span></strong><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Management/relevant experience</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Eligible to obtain Secret security clearance<br><br></span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Preferred Additional Skills:</span></strong><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• TS/SCI clearance preferred.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Knowledge of and experience with FAR, MMAS, SOX, and CAS requirements, as well as ITAR and EAR regulations.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Products.</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br><br></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $60,00 - $112,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
