Duties in this role include receiving property and accounting for it while L3Harris’s stewardship. The Property Specialist will also create repair jobs for failed units owned by the Government. Shipments are prepared and managed by the Property Specialist who understands the importance and critical need for this equipment which is used by our soldiers overseas. The Property Specialist will follow F.A.R, internal policy and regulations to ensure that the Government Property Management System is approved and adequate during audits performed by Government Officials. Other duties as assigned.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong><span style="line-height:107%">Essential Functions: </span></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Maintain records and accountability for government and customer property received, transferred, issued, consumed, stored, or disposed</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Ensure property is properly identified, tagged, and recorded in accordance with company procedures and government regulations</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Coordinate property transfers, shipments, and movements with internal stakeholders and external customers</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Support physical inventory activities, reconciliation efforts, and resolution of inventory discrepancies</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Prepare property status reports, metrics, and other documentation as required</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Assist with loss reporting, liability determinations, and corrective actions related to property issues</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Participate in internal and external audits and support responses to government property reviews</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Support contract closeout activities by verifying property records, disposition actions, and documentation are completed</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Review applicable contract requirements, including FAR/DFARS clauses and property-related CDRLs, to ensure compliance</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Complete required submissions in customer and government systems, such as PIEE, CAVS, CALMSS, and FOCUS, as applicable</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Coordinate with program teams, inventory, shipping, and other functional areas to ensure compliance with property requirements</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Contribute to maintaining an adequate Government Property Management System</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Perform other duties as assigned</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Qualifications: </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span>To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a master’s degree in related field or have completed their master’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.</span><span> </span> </span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span><strong>PAY TRANSPARENCY</strong>:</span><span> In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $81,500 - $97,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
