Advises team on the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential problems to ensure that equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Confirms material supply and demands and prepares work orders for components based on the project demand. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc. to achieve project timelines.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Work as part of an Integrated Project Team (IPT) as required to support schedule changes. Provide part planning and inventory control parameters to the control system for making items. Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with project schedules. Determine shortages and initiate action to correct these deficiencies. Contribute suggestions toward the continuous improvement of systems and procedures.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Operate WMS system and manage ERP inputs to ensure overall inventory accuracy</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Manage inventory levels for direct and indirect materials</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Communicate status and needs with cross functional teams including various internal and external customers (i.e. Program Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, etc.)</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that materials are provided as needed to achieve milestone completions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Coordinate the production material to support the master production schedule, shop workload and inventory requirements.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Utilize prior experience to identify risks and opportunities regarding material availability to ensure success of the production plan and maintain finish date integrity.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Manage multiple projects with varying complexity to completion.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Works under minimal direction and guidance within standard processes.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">No travel required, occasional overtime hours required</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field or have completed their bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Preferred Additional Skills:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Aerospace or AS9100 experience</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Familiarization with control of GFM (Government Furnished Materials) and CFM (Customer Furnished Materials)</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience with Lean and/or Electronic Manufacturing</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">APICS Certification</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Ability to learn the WMS system (Costpoint) and process transactions electronically and physically to ensure overall inventory accuracy.</span></li> </ul>
