This role requires a highly-skilled leader capable of driving operational excellence across diverse functions, ensuring aligned efforts with organizational goals, and fostering an inclusive, motivated workforce focused on continuous improvement.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">This position will be responsible for leading all aspects of the division’s operations and manufacturing strategy to ensure customers receive zero-defect products on time and within budget. Will oversee a cross-functional team of approximately 250+ employees, with 9 direct reports, spanning manufacturing, test, production planning, quality, depot/repairs, inventory management, government property, environmental health and safety, and continuous improvement. The role supports all company divisions and departments, interacts with internal and external stakeholders, and engages with current and potential customers and suppliers. They will focus on driving cultural improvements, reducing cost of poor quality (CoPQ), sustaining AS9100 certification, and managing operational execution of a high mix portfolio of electronic warfare products. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Execute manufacturing objectives and strategies to meet completion goals while achieving results utilizing ethical and fair business practices</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Lead multi-disciplinary operation in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, inventory management, continuous improvement, and EH&S</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Serve as an effective coach/mentor</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Oversee succession planning, organizational and talent development</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Drive Lean/Quality initiatives within the Manufacturing base (labor and equipment), including:</span> <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Kanban systems</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Mistake Proofing / Poke Yoke</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Factory Gembas</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">5S+1</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Value Stream Mapping (VSM)</span></li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Develop a world-class operations team through staffing, training, and talent management initiatives while serving as a role model for integrity, inclusion, and diversity</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Agent of change and proactive in implementing new processes to improve the Operations organization</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Present metrics and information to executive leadership on a reoccurring basis</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Manage internal customer relationships and priorities across a diverse product portfolio with competing interests</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">8 years of progressive Operations experience to include at least 4 years of</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">management experience.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Preferred Additional Skills:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Active TS/SCI Clearance preferred</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">8 years of Aerospace and Defense related experience preferred</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">8 years of progressive Operations experience to include at least 4 years of management experience, preferred</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience with Cost accounting both direct and indirect</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience in the following fields of Operational Excellence:</span> <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Understanding of lean principles around pull systems, mix/max controls, etc.</span></li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey area is $148,500- $275,000.00.</span></p>
