As a Test Engineering Technician, you will be directly involved in assembly, and integration and test of STE. This includes assembling cables, assembling and/or reworking Printed Wiring Assemblies (PWAs), integrating RF equipment/devices and digital or analog equipment and devices to our automated test racks. You will be responsible for performing design verification testing and troubleshooting as well as to be a liaison between engineering and production test teams.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Build automated test racks and other special test equipment (STE)</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Independently perform verification testing of circuit cards and higher-level STE assemblies</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Troubleshoot STE hardware and cables to the component level</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Write and modify verification test procedures with minimal engineering assistance</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">6+ years of experience using electrical measurement equipment, including digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and logic analyzers.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">4+ years of experience using RF measurement equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Demonstrated familiarity with basic RF parameters (bandwidth, reflection, S-parameters, spurious and harmonic signals, SNR, gain compression) and basic analog, digital, and DC circuit parameters (voltage/current/power, logic levels, timing).</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience with military or space qualified hardware designs.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience performing design verification testing.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience Assembling, and reworking cables.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience performing tests using lab equipment.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $62,500 - $116,500.
