The selected candidate(s) will support one or more of the eight available programs. The role of Lead Project Engineer (Responsible Engineer Authority) demands a highly skilled engineer who will represent the engineering Center of Excellence (COE) in evaluating and resolving production program product non-conformances. This individual must possess comprehensive knowledge of all design and performance aspects of their assigned program, enabling them to accurately address non-conforming hardware. Their responsibilities will involve collaboration with a cross-functional team, which includes the assigned Chief Engineer, Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Product Manager. Essential Functions: <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Under general direction, the Lead Project Engineer determines approaches to objectives demonstrating a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, and practices: </li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Real time WIP NC prioritization - repair, scrap evaluation / functional coordination.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Real time process optimization, Yield improvement support - minimize waste and optimize resource utilization. [TDP Integration, DFMEA / PFMEA Risk management / updates, KC updates / classification, MRL Improvements supporting AOP].</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Factory specific technical inputs enabling Root Cause and Corrective Action and Sector Systemic Learning.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Assist in designing & testing new equipment, processes, procedures and systems.</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Works on site in Camden supporting critical production programs.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Knowledgeable of all design and manufacturing aspects of their assigned program.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Technically capable of assessing any and all non-conformances to determine an immediate action (UAI, Rework, Scrap…) in order to keep production moving.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Provides Real-time process optimization, Yield improvement support - minimize waste and optimize resource utilization. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related Project Engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related Project Engineering experience.</li> </ul> Preferred Additional Skills: <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Proficient in CAD, GD&T, Analysis or Materials.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Ability to quickly assess complex problems, make decisions, and drive closure.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Previous experience working root cause and non-conformances.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Previous experience in project, materials, process, manufacturing, and/or integration/test engineering.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Previous experience designing & testing new equipment, processes, procedures, and systems.</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Six-Sigma Certification.</li> </ul>
