The Housing Delivery Manager (Decent Homes) role is opportunity within the Housing Directorate to deliver the improvement programme across our housing stock of some 5,600+ homes within Central Bedfordshire, ensuring our homes are safe, and homes meet our statutory obligations to achieve and maintain the Decent Homes Standard. Working within the Housing Planned Works Team, the position will report to the Housing Planned Works Manager, overseeing the management of a surveying team, contractors and specialist consultants, ensuring effective planning, preparation, and supporting the procurement of resources to deliver capital investment across our housing stock. The successful postholder will manage the effective delivery of improvements across our homes, collaboratively working with Housing colleagues to maintain safe homes, meeting the Decent homes Standard, to ensure all our homes are in a reasonable state of repair, to support and deliver our legislative and Housing Regulatory obligations. You will be someone who puts the customer at the heart of everything they do & embeds equality and diversity in all aspects of the Housing Services delivery.
