Job Title: Lead, Human Resources Business Partner (Labor Relations) Job Code: 40016 Job Location: Greenville, TX Schedule: 9/80; Every other Friday off Job Description: We are currently seeking a Lead HR Business Partner (Labor Relations) to join our team in Greenville, TX. The Lead, HR Business Partner (Labor Relations), will report to the Director, Employee and Labor Relations and will be actively involved in the development and implementation of sector Employee and Labor Relation strategies centered on collective bargaining, contract administration, organizing campaigns, and positive employee relations. This role will serve as the chief negotiator for select collective bargaining agreements. This position will be part of a team responsible for contract administration, grievance, and arbitration processes. Additionally, the role will be a key contributor to functional improvement projects for ELR. Essential Functions: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Negotiate collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and labor contracts, as applicable.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Assist in the development of business continuation plans (BCP).</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provide interpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), as well as guidance on its’ proper application.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Perform investigations as needed.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Engage in proactive grievance avoidance practices such as training leaders on how to manage a union workforce, understanding the CBA, and positive leadership practices.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Offers expert mentorship and comprehensive training to field HR partners to develop and enhance the ELR acumen internally.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Utilize trends and analytics to provide proactive recommendations and propose solutions to enable sound talent divisions and initiatives.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Identify and diagnose issues to develop, recommend, and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Build and utilize relationships with functional HRBPs to influence business priorities within the functions.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Manage projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Participate in building and improving standard work for the ELR function.</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 12 years of prior HRBP experience.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience in negotiating collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and labor contracts is required.</li> </ul> Preferred Additional Skills: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience as a chief labor negotiator with experience in developing and executing labor strategy and progressive labor solutions.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Experience supporting a bargaining unit, including the interpretation and application of the CBA, grievance arbitration process, building relationships with union representatives, and understanding of labor laws</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and consulting skills.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Highly adaptable and able to succeed in a fast-paced dynamic environment.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Ability to collaborate in a team environment as well as operate independently.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Possess a high degree of professional integrity and confidentiality with an eye for attention to detail.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to analyze and display data.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Knowledge of HR systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, and SuccessFactors.</li> </ul> #LI-CL1
