This position requires strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management and integrated scheduling. The Sr Spec, Program Scheduler will communicate within and outside of own function to manage and status program performance against schedule baseline.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></span></p> <p> </p> <ul style="margin-bottom:4.0px"> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Ensures major program and project schedules/plans are integrated across functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Support program reviews to ensure that schedule elements meet requirements.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Lead or participate in scheduling status reviews.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Support schedule development for major program proposal efforts.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Communicates within and outside own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (i.e. customers, vendors, etc.) when necessary.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Broad knowledge of project and program management. Viewed as having a specialty in integrated scheduling within the Project/Program Management discipline.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Experience explaining, interpreting, and gaining cooperation on scheduling policies, procedures and practices to other employees.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Subject matter expert in MS Project and Milestone Professional tools.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></span></p> <p> </p> <ul style="margin-bottom:4.0px"> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
