The team consists of Managers, IPT team leads. The position will report to the Director of the Manufacturing Engineering and is dotted line to the RS-25 Program office, with the primary objective of executing Operations &amp; Program goals. The position will oversee a team of Manufacturing Engineering Managers, coordinating across multiple functions to ensure program success. Maintain employee training and critical skills. Support employee growth through training in manufacturing and engineering requirements and processes. Integrate strategies to create productive cohesive team.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">25% Program support: Attend daily program meetings determine shop floor priorities to ensure AOP goals are achieved on time &amp; within budget. Create environment for communication with Quality, Supply chain, Operation, Engineering &amp; Program leadership to drive production.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">20% Understand program financial performance and head count requirements. Coordinate operation to ensure the staffing plans meets program requirements. Collaborate with both Program office and operations to align schedule commitments with financial goals.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">15% Support Lean Manufacturing &amp; Process Improvement Initiatives: Drive process improvement projects to achieve greater efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability with a focus on reduced costs and improved quality.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">10% Support Site Audits: Support internal and external audits of the manufacturing area. Drive root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective action on any findings.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">5% Support &amp; Drive Safety: Identify, report, and eliminate unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
