The role involves timely task execution and close collaboration with engineering, quality, and materials teams to ensure proper handling and documentation of optical, mechanical, and electrical components. Ideal candidates bring strong attention to detail, relevant material handling experience, and solid problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills. This position offers the opportunity to support advanced technology and precision manufacturing within L3Harris Space and Mission Systems.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Essential Functions:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Monitors the efficient movement of material from the warehouse to production</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Use ERP systems and production planning software to process transactions</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Assist with identifying problems with material orders and recommend solutions</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Work cross functionally to troubleshoot and resolve paperwork and parts issues</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Work with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) to complete tasks</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Qualifications:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience: Or, 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to work overtime/weekend shifts as needed</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Preferred Additional Skills:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• High attention to detail and organizational skills</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Strong communication skills both written and verbal</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical/Optical discipline</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Aerospace or Defense industry experience</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Proven experience as a Production Control Expert or in a similar role such as inventory/materials management</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• In-depth knowledge of production planning and quality control principles</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Lean Manufacturing practices</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $45,000-$84,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
