Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><b>Essential Functions: </b></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">Ability to read and understand description of manufacture (DM, DOM) for operation assembly instruction. Ability to handle small parts with tweezers and/ or special tools Operate various types of assembly equipment (assembly machines, press stakes, air screw drivers, etc.) with proper training. Visually inspect components and subassemblies for obvious defects prior to, during, and after assembled. Check completed assemblies for conformance with quality standards and DMs. Maintain assembly/ quality records paperwork as required.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><b><span style="">Qualifications: </span></b></span></span></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li><span style=""><span style=""><span><span style="">Requires minimal job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">Ability to obtain Security Clearance if required.</span></span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><b><span style="">Preferred Additional Skills:</span></b></span></span></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">Experience with various types of precision measurement tools (micrometers, go/no-go gauges, etc.) and blueprint reading required.</span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">Experience in a manufacturing assembly environment</span></span>.</span></span></span></span></li> </ul>
