This individual will work within a matrix organization, aligning high level objectives with detailed process improvements that will design and implement manufacturing processes, optimizing layout and workflow to ensure safety, quality, and productivity This position benefits from strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Essential Functions: </strong></span></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineers, process engineers, and production supervisors to achieve key performance metrics.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Analyze production Process and Workstreams to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Develop work standards, time studies, and ergonomic analyses to support manufacturing operations.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Monitor and report on process performance, utilizing data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues, working closely with quality assurance and operations teams.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Provide technical support for new product development, ensuring manufacturability and scalability of designs.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Create and maintain process documentation including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices across production lines.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product introduction, process validation, and capacity planning.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Ability</span><span style="font-size:14.0pt"> to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Travel: 25%.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">5 years demonstrated experience in process improvement, production planning, and capacity analysis in a manufacturing environment.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Preferred Additional Skills:</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is strongly preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES) is a plus.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Previous experience in aerospace or defense industry preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience with CAD software for layout planning and process design.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:white">#LI-HW1</span></p>
