ARDE designs and manufactures pressure vessels (tanks) for Aerospace applications. This is a dynamic environment that requires motivated, self-starting individuals with hands-on experience. Manufacturing Engineers are responsible for manufacturing activities including tooling design and process development. They must be able to follow company procedures and requirements for the manufacture of advanced, man-rated, and high value aerospace hardware. Essential Functions: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;color:black">Plan, develop, initiate and maintain processes for the fabrication of pressure vessels. Create detailed work instructions, procedures that meet design, process, quality, safety, and environmental requirements. Provide shop floor support of manufacturing processes and vendor support as required.</li> <li style="line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;color:black">Design and implement tooling and fixtures to support efficient manufacturing of parts and assemblies.</li> <li style="line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;color:black">Provide technical guidance and/or training to the shop floor. Review engineering drawings for manufacturability. Interface with all the related support groups for processes to ensure accuracy, control and safety of the personnel and quality of the hardware.</li> <li style="line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;color:black">Perform investigations of nonconforming hardware and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li style="line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;color:black">Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
